TTopRPG .075 now supports complex macros (multi-line, up to 400 characters). You can color the buttons or label them bold or italic.
I've also added the ability to put parameters in the commands. Parameters take the form [?var=default] where var is the variable name and the optional default is the default value in the form that pops up asking for the variable's value.
So, for DnD 3.5 powerattack with a single-handed weapon when you usually use 5 power attack points, you could use:
"I am powerattacking for [?powerattack=5]. I hit AC [1d20+7-[?powerattack]] and hit for [1d12+6+[?powerattack]] damage."
The first [?powerattack=5] asks for powerattack's value. Then it is applied across the rest of the phrase.
These are all optional of course. I hide the interface options behind an Advanced button on the macro form that otherwise only allows a name and single operation. The parameters are always usable, but simple mode only allows 32 character operations, so it's unlikely you can make something useful without going into Advanced mode. |
